Integration and Inclusion of Young Refugees

CrosSport project is a trans-European partnership that fosters inclusion and integration of youth refugees through sport by establishing collaborative mechanisms and peer to peer platforms with the aim of empowering sport organizations and connecting them with integration-focused social development organizations.
The project originates from the challenges that the current migration flows pose to the four selected countries: Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

ICSS Europe is part of the the global, independent and non-profit organization International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) (www.icss.org), and has the objective to develop activities for the protection of sport to ensure good governance, integrity, and the protection of youth as well as protection and security throughout the sport sector

With regards to the protection of youth through sport, the efforts in this field are carried out via the  Save the Dream  initiative (http://www.save-the-dream.org/en), which implements and promotes projects to empower youth through safe access to sport and its educational and social values.

The International Olympic Truce Centre was established in July 2000 as a joint initiative of Greece and the International Olympic Committee, turning the commitment of the Olympic Movement to promote its peaceful principles into concrete action.

IOTC’s mission is to promote the olympic ideals, to serve peace, friendship, solidarity and to cultivate international understanding.

Seville Football Club Foundation aims to integrate the work of Sevilla FC with the promotion and development of sports activities and transmit the values of the company through these and other social, educational, and cultural activities affecting the society (youth, integration of immigrants, people with disabilities, and marginalised or other disadvantage groups).

The Foundation intends to develop a consistent social work through the motto “We are values”: by bringing football to all citizens, the core values of sport such as education for tolerance, respect, equality are transmitted to the society.

The S.S. Lazio 1900 is a non-profit organization built on the foundation of a specific declaration by the General Council of the S.S. Lazio a.s.d, known as the Lazio Multisport Club, founded in Rome on the 9th of January 1900. The Foundation aspires to the principles, values, morals and sporting heritage of the Biancocelesti founders and pioneers.

Through sport and cultural initiatives, the Foundation promotes healthy lifestyles focused on physical activity, environmental sustainability, health and nutrition, social inclusion and integration against all forms of discrimination and marginalization; and community welfare with the dissemination of cultural activities of social interest and with educational purposes.
